Editing the scene in front of you seems to me to be essential to make sense of the image that is envisaged. The modern world seems to fill every scene with distractions and it took me a while to realise that I could leave stuff out.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09350381570737387904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3468843067640834925.post-67128877775419257092012-01-18T12:29:57.021-08:002012-01-18T12:29:57.021-08:00Ray - Thanks. A little judicious tinkering should cure the situation.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09350381570737387904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3468843067640834925.post-74202253985112775372012-01-17T16:49:14.130-08:002012-01-17T16:49:14.130-08:00Hi Mick your painting is full of sunshine, it is t...Hi Mick your painting is full of sunshine, it is the light and the lovely colours you are using that creates an almost spring like day. Great to see you painting again. I don't actually know what that represents so will have to find out. I've never thought about handling the scene that way so it just shows...Peter Wardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07451951778074071828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3468843067640834925.post-67175547542169815262012-01-17T13:33:28.193-08:002012-01-17T13:33:28.193-08:00Nicely done and I like what you chose to left out,...Nicely done and I like what you chose to left out, showing your thinking process about what is important. Hard to do at times when working from photographs that show it all. I think Ray is right about some dark accents to balance the door.RH Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497161758269292809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3468843067640834925.post-112563255939127672012-01-17T13:18:27.925-08:002012-01-17T13:18:27.925-08:00Very nice aspect taken, Mick. Maybe some dark accents on the left would cancel the door out. You are sure starting the year out on a high.Ray Maclachlan Arthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16542553965601642263noreply@blogger.com
