Very little to report on the painting front, life getting in the way and frustration building. A quick few washes with the watercolours to stave off the resulting irritation. Apologies to those who are sick of the same old subject matter.

How can anyone be sick of fresh beautiful watercolour flowers in a glass vase! I love your flowers and don't worry I could see them everyday so go and paint some more!

Caroline - Thanks, in my heart I love them too and love doing them. My frustration is largely because I'm not getting the opportunities to do other things with my art.

Ahhh life! When i get frustrated I try to remember.. Without the curves and bumps in the road we cant really appreciate the smooth straights..

Dan - great advice. I'm in for a smooth straight soon. Thanks for the kind words. I've been looking at your part of the world on the internet and am starting to get a real urge to get over there. Whether that might be possible remains to be seen, suffice it to say your wonderful work is the stimulus for that thought.

beautifully done, Mick. Tulips and delicate watercolors never get old.I Just a little painting gets rid of the anxiety for me too. I always feel better.
